Sundaze-Paradise on Peanut Island
The original painting was commissioned by the Sunfest Art Committee for their 2014 poster. The perspective is from the ferry dock on Peanut Island. It views the Palm Beach Inlet looking south down the Intracoastal to the West Palm Beach Cityscape.
To create the image for this painting the artist used a series of photographs taken on an sparkling idyllic morning. Hoping to capture the feeling of the area, she selected her favorite elements from hundreds of photos taken.
“Sundaze” - A state of mind or place often associated with Sundays that promotes well being and relaxation. Combine the positive energy and warmth of water and sunshine and you'll be in a "Sundaze" state of mind.
