This Original Painting was commissioned by the Mainsail Art Committee for their 2014 Poster Image. It is from the perspective at Vinoy Park, the site of the art show, looking out over the harbor at their beautiful skyline. 
In order to create this painting I took hundreds of pictures over several days in different light. This composition gives the viewer an 180 degree view to include all the elements of their skyline that were important to St. Petersburg. Naturally I knew I had to include The Pier which has since been torn down along with the easily recognizable Vinoy Renaissance Hotel at the opposite end of the picturesque St. Petersburg Skyline. 
It was an honor to do their poster image. I am so fortunate to get to know that amazing city on such at imamate level! Thank you!
